Proclaiming the gospel in word and in works of compassion across the world - and across the street.

As a community, and as individuals, God invites us to be His hands and feet and voice in mission to the world.   Stanwich World Missions offers a way to participate in local, domestic and global ministries in a way that maximizes the impact of your missions giving and hands-on service.

" The church doesn't have a mission. God's mission has a church..."

Upcoming Event

March 11 - New Covenant Luncheon

Mission Prayer Focus

So many members of the Stanwich community faithfully serve others, sharing our love of Jesus through words and works of compassion.  Mission trips to Guatemala; bringing sandwiches and friendship to the homeless at the Stamford train station; preparing and serving lunch to the hungry; befriending a lonely neighbor or visiting someone in a nursing home.  In their homes, families, workplaces, and neighborhoods, they are doing Kingdom work every day.

Please pray:

  • With thanks for the hearts of service found in the Stanwich community
  • For the Holy Spirit to lead us to people in need of physical and spiritual nourishment, and to give us all we need to satisfy them
  • For Jesus to remain first in our hearts so that we may love as he loves

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that  I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Missions Committee
