LUNES - Evensong Community Fellowship
Lunes - An Evening Apart
Lunes meets every Monday night from 7-9:30 pm in the home of Rev. Chris and Angie Sorensen, 64 Jordan Lane, Stamford (See Map). Bring a Bible (if you don't have one, we'll be happy to give you one) and $5 to cover the expense of a nice meal, which will be catered each week and ready when you arrive. We will eat together from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m., which will allow folks to get to know one another better. From 8:00 to 8:30 p.m we will have a short time of community announcements, worship and prayer. From 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. we will break off into small groups. Several times throughout the year we will have retreats as well as ongoing special events that everyone can participate in.
Lunes - Family Community
Our desire is that Lunes becomes a family. Many young adults live far away from relatives and have experienced firsthand the loneliness of trying to fly solo.
Lunes - Open to All
Lunes is a place where everyone is welcome. We hope that visitors come and join us. Visitors can come as often as they like, and when they feel ready, they can become committed members of the community.
Lunes - Commitment
To truly experience the essence of Lunes will require commitment. Becoming a member does not involve any rituals or fees, it just requires a faith in Jesus and a loyal devotion to the Evensong community.
SMALL GROUPS
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, relationships are essential to your growth. Getting involved with a small group is a great opportunity to get connected to others and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Check out the Stanwich Small Groups page to learn more about the many types of small groups at Stanwich.
