AND SUNDAY SCHOOL!
For parents: We encourage you to explore all the activities and programs available
for children at Stanwich, and to share in their excitement as they explore the faith each week. Please visit our new children's ministry website Stanwich Rocks! for details
about activities and events, and to register your child for Sunday School.
Also, please consider how you might volunteer your time and talents to help support
our children's programs. You don't have to commit to helping every week (though we'd love it if you could!). We need classroom teachers and assistants, arts and crafts helpers, Christmas Pageant assistants, junior choir helpers to organize robes,
nursery moms to clean sheets and toys. ...there are so many ways you can help!

Wild West Festival
Friends and families gathered on October 27 for a day of games, crafts, pony rides, pumpkins and more. The Wild West theme was a follow-up to this summer's Vacation Bible School. View photos
Children's Performance: Children in grades 1-6 presented a musical drama
called 'Who is Like the Lord?' on April 29 during the morning and evening worship services. The performances received standing ovations from the congregation.
Thanks to all of the cast members who rehearsed for months to prepare for the performance, and for the many volunteers who helped with costumes, sets,
lighting, and other behind-the scenes support which made this special event

2007 Vacation Bible School
June 25-29, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Children in pre-K through 5th grade had a rousing good time in this year's summer program, with the theme Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride Through God's Word. Check out the Avalanche Ranch website to get a glimpse of all the fun. Thanks to all the volunteers who worked to make this year's VBS a wonderful success. See you next year! |

2006 Vacation Bible School
The theme for 2006 VBS was Fiesta! Where kids are fired up about Jesus. Eighty-five children enjoyed a week of singing, dancing, learning about the Bible, and working on a special project
to create blankets inscribed with “Jesus Loves Me.” The blankets, along with Bibles in Spanish, were sent to needy children in Latin America.
A special thanks to the members who generously provided scholarships and a bus so that 22 children from the Wilbur Peck Public Housing project could attend. View photos
