Joshua Kim Associate Pastor
Joshua joined the staff of Stanwich in January, 2008. He has eight years of active duty military experience serving as a Navy Hospital Corpsman, and spent the last four years as an active duty Chaplain, Captain in the Air Force. He continues to serve one month in the summer as an Air Force Reservist at the Air Force Academy. Joshua also has ministered in several different church capacities in Sacramento, Chicago and New York.
Joshua was born in Seoul, Korea and was adopted by an American family at the age of one. He grew up in Central California and began following Christ at the age of twenty-two. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Philosophy. He began his seminary studies at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and completed his Masters of Divinity at Alliance Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 2003.
Joshua combines a strong blend of ministry excellence and a dedicated work ethic with a heart that enables him to build strong relationships. He is married to his wife, Grace, who has an MA in Biblical Studies and numerous ministry gifts. Joshua and Grace have two children. |
