Welcome to the Stanwich Church website.  We’re glad you’re here! 

Whether you are just starting your search for God, or have been

attending church all your life, you will find a warm welcome at Stanwich. 

Several years ago an article in Greenwich Historical Magazine called

Stanwich Church “A Light in the Back Country”.  The article celebrated

the enduring light of Christian ministry in northern Greenwich since 1731

when 13 families founded Stanwich Church.  Over the years our church

has grown, and our ministries have extended beyond Greenwich to the surrounding area and throughout the world, but our goals are the same

today as they were 275 years ago:  to worship God and to share His love

with others. 

We would be honored to welcome you to one of our worship services.

Traditional Sunday morning worship is at 9 AM and 10:45 AM, and our

Evensong service is at 5:30 PM on Sunday evenings.  Our building is

wheelchair accessible, and listening devices are available for the

hearing impaired.  Children's programs are available at all services.

Since the Bible teaches that worship is not just a Sunday experience,

but rather a lifestyle that seeks to honor God in all we do and say,

Stanwich also offers many opportunities for Christian friendship,

education and service that make it possible for people to share

God’s love and learn how to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.     

We have designed this website to acquaint you with Stanwich and all of the ways that you might join us.  Members of our congregation would be happy
