Communion
At the Last Supper Jesus invited the disciples to share bread and wine in remembrance of His body and blood given for the remission of sins (Luke 22:19-20). Holy Communion is a celebration of this sacrament by which we receive forgiveness of sins. During communion, worshippers come to the front of the church to receive the bread and to dip it in the communion cup filled with unfermented wine (grape juice). If you are physically unable to come forward for communion, please notify one of the pastors prior to the service so that arrangements can be made for a server to come to you. |
