MIDDLE SCHOOL/JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS
Please check the middle school calendar for upcoming events for students in grades
6-8. For more information about our youth programs, please contact Lee Fletcher, Director of Youth Ministries.
Confirmation
Our confirmation program is designed to bring students in 7th and 8th grade into a real and active adult faith in Jesus Christ. During the two year program, students attend classes, take a more active role in the church, and experience all five aspects of the Christian faith: worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and service. By the end
of confirmation, students are ready to transition into the high school program, and to continue their spiritual growth throughout their high school years.
Breakfast Club
Our Sunday School for students in 7th and 8th grade meets during morning worship services in the Youth Room on the lower level.
WyldLife
WyldLife is a division of Young Life, a non-denominational Christian organization that
believes every kid can lead lives of significance as well as success, and has the right to know about the unconditional love of God and Jesus Christ. Regardless of how kids
may respond to the message, they are cared for unconditionally by their leaders. Stanwich Church supports Young Life and Wyldlife, and several staff members are former Young Life leaders. For more information about Wyldlife, please visit the websites for Greenwich
or Stamford, or the national website at www.younglife.org.
FOCUS
FOCUS, the Fellowship Of Christians in Universities and Schools, is an organization
that Stanwich supports which offers a non-denominational ministry to students in middle/high school and college. FOCUS meets weekly during the school year, and
hosts a variety of summer camping opportunities at their property on Martha’s Vineyard. For more information, visit the FOCUS website at www.infocus.org.
