This ministry demonstrates the Lord’s love by providing meals, rides, babysitting, and other help in times of special need.  Anyone who wants to share the love of Jesus by giving time and confidential help to others is welcome to be a part of this ministry.  You can designate your availability as well as your area of interest

(e.g., cooking meals, delivering meals, providing rides, etc.).

Friendly Visitors

This ministry demonstrates the Lord’s love through its members by visiting homebound people once a week.            

Healing Prayer

Every Wednesday evening in the sanctuary, a group gathers for prayer.  The reason?  Because there are sick and hurting people in our midst, and Jesus has called us to pray for one another. 

Some come to pray for others; some come to be prayed for; and some come for both!  During this prayer time we offer prayers for healing of body, mind, and spirit.  We ask for healing, but more importantly, we seek for the Healer to have full sway

in our lives.

Prayer Chain

Participating in the Stanwich Prayer Chain is a blessing for those being prayed for and for those praying!  The commitment involves:

• Setting aside time daily to pray for Stanwich, using the guide that is mailed  to you plus a monthly prayer letter;
• Being willing to call in daily to the confidential prayer line at church to hear the current prayer requests, and then taking time to pray for the people in special need.
