ASK (Always Someone Kares)

This ministry demonstrates the Lord’s love by providing meals, rides, babysitting, and other help in times of special need.  Anyone who wants to share the love of Jesus by giving time and confidential help to others is welcome to be a part of this ministry.  You can designate your availability as well as your area of interest

(e.g., cooking meals, delivering meals, providing rides, etc.).

Friendly Visitors

This ministry demonstrates the Lord’s love through its members by visiting homebound people.            

Healing Prayer

Healing prayer is an avenue of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.  It is also

a way to grow in intimacy with your heavenly Father who loves you.  A time of personal healing prayer is available at the church by appointment every 1st and

3rd Wednesday of the month. 

Prayer Chain

Participating in the Stanwich Prayer Chain is a blessing for those being prayed for and for those praying!  The commitment involves:

• Setting aside time daily to pray for Stanwich, using the guide that is mailed  to you plus a monthly prayer letter;
• Being willing to call in daily to the confidential prayer line at church to hear the current prayer requests, and then taking time to pray for the people in special need.

Prayer Gatherings

Every Wednesday at noon a group gathers for prayer in the prayer chapel.  The reason?  Because there are sick and hurting people in our midst, and Jesus has called us to pray for one another.  We pray for the health of our church and for spiritual harvest in our community.
