UPCOMING TRIPS
Stanwich organizes several trips throughout the year to help communities
in need. Week-long trips for high school students are scheduled during spring and summer breaks, and an annual trip to West Virginia for adults and families is scheduled in July. Other trips may be planned throughout the year. Details for upcoming trips are published in the church bulletin and
at the Welcome table in Emmaus Hall.
To participate in local mission trips, sign up in Emmaus Hall. For national and international mission trips, four steps are required to participate:
1. Obtain a missions application from the church office, or if you have Adobe Reader software you can click here to download the application.
2. Submit your application to the Stanwich Short-Term Mission Committee. Summer trip applications must be received by March 31st,
or earlier as specified in trip details for international missions.
3. Submit a check for required trip expenses. Participants are expected
to provide the full amount of their support from personal finances or other sources. For those who cannot provide 100%, Stanwich may have limited funds available for partial scholarships. To apply for financial assistance, complete the financial aid form which is included in the application packet.
4. Participate in a Stanwich missions cross-cultural training class and additional team meetings for a specific trip.
