WELCOME DANIELLE KOHLBERGER

   Stanwich welcomed Danielle Kohlberger as Assistant Director of Youth Ministries effective May 1.  She is taking over for Brianna Roberts, who has moved on to the best job on earth:  motherhood.      Danielle is passionate about leading young people in their walk of faith, and providing opportunities for them to reach out to their community.  As a teen Danielle was mentored by a youth leader who impacted her personal and spiritual development.  This experience has played a significant role in her calling to invest in youth during a critical stage in their spiritual development.  

   Danielle moved from Toronto, Canada to Greenwich in November 2006 when she married her husband Jeff. 

LENTEN STUDY

  The Stanwich family set aside the season of Lent as a time to encourage everyone to join a small group, and to journey together with a special Lenten study series.  This year the series was Awakening, produced in-house by the Rising Group.  This DVD series is available to borrow in the church bookstore for anyone who missed a week or would like to view it again.

WORSHIP CONCERT

   Dennis and Sharon Collins and friends presented a wonderful "Evening of Worship" benefit concert in our sanctuary on Saturday, March 8.  The concert featured Tony award winner Adriane Lenox, Tony nominee Zane Mark, and other talented friends as well as the Stanwich children's choir.  A reception was held in Emmaus Hall after the concert.  Donations were gratefully accepted for a new Autism/Special Needs ministry being launched at Stanwich.  Thanks to the Collins family, the performers, and the many volunteers who organized this event.

VIVALDI GLORIA CONCERT

   A spring concert was held in the sanctuary on Saturday, April 12.  Stanwich Music Director Randall Atcheson performed piano solos and conducted the Stanwich choir in the Vivaldi Gloria.  Soloists Wendy Gerbier, Denise LeVan, and Sue Neumann were featured.  A reception followed in Emmaus Hall.

ANNUAL MEETING

   The annual meeting was held in the sanctuary on Monday, May 19 at 7:30 PM.  Members voted on next year's budget and slate of officers, and heard from the deacons about changes to morning worship services.
