EVENSONG CELEBRATION AND FAREWELL PARTY FOR THE SORENSENS

   On Sunday, August 30, over 360 people came to Stanwich for a special celebration Evensong service followed by a farewell party for the Sorensens. 

   The worship service included an enhanced worship time with present and past musicians from the Evensong Rising band, including: Nicole Berkowitz, Jonathan Curri, Dave Tolley, Bethany Johnson and Anna Leinbach along with Evensong's new Worship Director and drummer, Paul Stivitts.    

   Following the Evensong service, we celebrated with a "Southern Style" dinner in Emmaus Hall in the Sorensen's honor.  It was a wonderful time of worshipping and celebrating together what God is doing in their lives. 

   Chris and his family are moving to Chattanooga, Tenessee to start a new church.  We affectionately call this new ministry Evensong South, and we are very excited to see how God will bless Chris and his wife Angie in this new stage in their life of faith.
