Message from Senior Pastor Chuck Davis

     A few weeks back, Rev. Joshua Kim preached about bold faith.  I was inspired and challenged.  His discovery from the Reveal Project – survey of 80,000 Christ followers – was interesting.  What do we want from church?  A place to grow. 

     We want to connect you with those places of growth and community at Stanwich.  We are not just about filling a calendar.  We want to provide significant opportunities for growth in faith and community.   

     We are excited with the launching of our fall schedule, which includes our new Next Steps Mentoring Network.  Discipleship, spiritual growth, soul care, skill and life vocation processing cannot be a ‘one size fits all’ application.  Each one of us is at a different point in the journey.  So we are seeking to provide personalized mentoring for initial assessment and engagement in personal group mentoring settings where you can get what YOU need for your next steps of growth. 

     Stanwich also offers Connections, which are interest groups

that meet occasionally for the purpose of growing relationships

around a particular interest.  Stanwich Singles, Soul Sisters for women, Ecclesia for college/young adults, and several sports groups are just a few of these connection opportunities.

     The Lord has blessed Stanwich with stable vibrancy.  We want to build on that great foundation.  So find your connection point, and journey on with us.
