2010 Lenten Study

The Prodigal God by Tim Keller

    

Stanwich has an annual tradition of offering a 6-week church-wide Lenten study within the context of our small group ministry.  This year we will explore Tim Keller's book The Prodigal God:  Finding Your Place at the Table, which offers an enlightening look at the parable

of the prodigal son in the gospel of Luke.  Tim Keller is both an author and the senior pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City.

 

For those of you who are not already in a small group, new groups will be forming for this Lenten study.  An Evensong group will meet on Sunday afternoons from 4-5:15 PM before the Evensong service

beginning on February 21.  Steve Gilbert will facilitate the discussion, and childcare will be available.  Please sign up in Emmaus Hall or by emailing Steve at spgilbert@optonline.net. 

Other groups will also be forming throughout the church.  To find a group that's right for you, or if you're interested in starting your own group, please contact Genie Wells in the church office.
