SUPPORT GROUPS
The Greenwich Center for Hope and Renewal is a faith-based renewal and counseling center that serves individuals and families in the greater Greenwich area. The Center is located
at 237 Taconic Road in the former Stanwich Church building. A few of the support groups and programs offered by the Center are described below. For more details and a schedule

Grief-Loss Support is for people suffering from loss due to death of a loved one, broken relationships, health problems, financial or other issues. This renewal group will help you develop coping skills and ways to move on with your life.
DivorceCare is a seminar and support group for people who are experiencing the trauma
of separation or divorce. It provides resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. Some of the topics include feelings of anger and depression, new relationships, impact on children and how to deal with them, and the
role of forgiveness in the healing process.
180 (Youth) Renewal is a group for high school students who struggle with substance abuse. The group follows 12-Step principles and discuss critical topics including identity development, peer interaction, family dynamics, and life planning.
Meeting the Challenge: Mother's Forum is a group devoted to providing a loving, supportive environment for women to explore how best to fulfill our many challenging roles: mother,
wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, perhaps employee or single parent, etc. Our hope is to
learn to live each day fully, grow in love and understanding, find our place in today's world,
and become all that we were designed to be.
Eating Disorder Support is a group for women who are working toward recovery from eating disorders and related issues. The group follows 12-Step principles and discuss critical topics including self-image, family dynamics, and boundary setting.
