SERMONS

     At Stanwich, sermons are based on the Bible which we believe is our rule of faith

and practice.  Our pastors explore biblical truths to help us better understand

God’s Word and how it applies to our lives today.   

     Of course the best way to hear a Stanwich sermon is in person during one of

our worship services.  However, for people who aren’t able to attend, or for those

who want to share an inspiring message with a friend, our sermons are recorded

every week.  You can listen online to recent sermons if your computer has software to play mp3 files.  (If you don't already have this software, many options are available for free, such as Windows Media Player for Windows or Quicktime for Macintosh.)

     Sermon CD's also can be borrowed from our bookstore lending library, purchased individually or as a subscription.  Please check out the Sermon CD page for more information about purchasing sermon CD's.   

SEMINARS AND BIBLE STUDIES

     Stanwich offers a variety of seminars, teachings and Bible studies to help people grow in their faith and understanding of God.  On Wednesday evenings is Soma, where people gather in Emmaus Hall for a light meal followed by a teaching and small group discussion.  Please check the Seminars and Bible Studies page for study materials and recorded teachings from the current Soma series.
