MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization devoted to helping mothers of young children.  MOPS recognizes that the

years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship, and that moms from different backgrounds share a similar

desire to be the very best moms they can be. 

Local MOPS groups meet twice a month and provide childcare to give moms an opportunity to enjoy refreshments, activities, crafts, and guidance from speakers and other moms.  The local MOPS group at Stanwich Church is currently on hiatus.  To find a local group in your area, or to learn more about MOPS International, visit their website at www.mops.org.
