A NOTE FROM PASTOR NATHAN HART
While the COVID-19 situation comes as a major surprise to us, we are wise to remember that God is not caught off guard. He is sovereign, even over this. As it says in Psalm 28:10, “The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.” Not only is God "enthroned over" our situation, he is also Emmanuel: God with us. God’s sovereignty and presence give us comfort and allow us to be people who peacefully and prayerfully serve during difficult times.
We our thankful for your understanding, your support, and most of all, your prayers as we continue to respond to this unprecedented time. We will see you online for worship.
We are in uncharted waters, and I believe that everyone is doing their best to respond day by day. Let’s choose to be gracious and generous with one another, using “whatever gifts we have received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)
I look forward to seizing this opportunity to be the church with you all.
