"Be a Rock"

Book Launch

Wednesday, April 1, 6pm

Amidst a culture of confusion and instability, author Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds points us to the Bible to discover the only foundation that does not shift or fail. Becoming a rock in a chaotic and broken world can have a significant and lasting impact for good, both for yourself and for everyone you care about.

Join us as we partner with Christ Church to hear Mr. Reynolds discuss and share highlights from this book.  A fun evening with wine and light apps provided. Parish Hall Christ Church, 254 Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, from 6 - 8 pm.

Prayer Hour

Monday, 7pm

Wednesday, 6:30am and Friday, 7:20am

In an attempt to keep our community safe and to invite the rest of the church body to prayer, we are temporarily moving our prayer meetings to conference call. This way, those who are homebound and others with restricted access are able to join us in prayer. This means that over the remainder of Lent, we will dial-in for our prayer meetings instead of meeting in person. You can join us  via conference call at any of the times above.

Here are the instructions:

At the appointed time, dial 515-606-5410 and punch in access code: 119748 (followed by #)

Introduce yourself so we know who is present.

Please invite anyone you know who would benefit from this prayer time. Even in isolation, God is not bound by space, time or geography and can unite us as the church in prayer. May the Holy Spirit guide us and our prayers during this time, and may He use what was intended for evil for good

Six Kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water. On Saturday, May 16th, thousands of people from around the globe will walk or run 6K to bring life-changing clean water to communities in need. Each participant's $50 registration fee provides life-changing clean water for one person.

Stanwich Church has created a team and hosting a site walk right here at our Greenwich location. Our 6k trail path will expand across all three properties. If we are unable to gather together, we encourage you to walk/run your own 6k right from where you are!

This is sure to be a fun day for family, friends and for an amazing cause.
